Flash deals

How the offers work.

What is a flash deal?

A flash deal is a limited-time offer on a product. Check the deal page for the price, what’s included, and any conditions before you buy.

What does the countdown mean?

The countdown shows the time remaining for the advertised offer. When it reaches zero, treat that offer as ended. Check the product page and checkout for the current price and availability.

Does adding a product to my cart reserve the deal?

Adding an item to your cart does not complete a purchase. Review the price and order total at checkout before paying, especially when a deal is about to end.

Will an expired deal come back?

Don’t assume a past price or offer will return. Visit Home for current flash deals or browse the Shop to see what’s available now.

Is the deal for a full product, an upgrade, or a subscription?

Read the individual listing carefully. Check the edition, included content, license type, and whether an existing product is required. If anything is unclear, ask us before purchasing.

Orders & payment

Before and after checkout.

Are these physical products or digital products?

FlashVST focuses on digital audio plug-ins, samplepacks, and apps. Check the listing for exactly what you receive, including any installers, audio files, presets, or license details.

Which payment methods can I use?

The payment options available for your order appear at checkout. Review the final total and any applicable taxes or charges there before completing your purchase.

How do I use a coupon code?

Open the coupon section in the cart or checkout, enter your code, and apply it. Confirm that the discount appears in the total before paying. A code may have an expiry date or restrictions, and not every code applies to an existing sale.

I haven’t received my order email. What should I do?

Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, then confirm which email address you used at checkout. If you have an account, check My account for the order. If it’s still missing, contact Support with the product name and approximate purchase date.

My payment failed or the order is still pending. Should I buy again?

Check your order status and payment confirmation before trying again so you don’t accidentally place a duplicate order. If you’re unsure whether payment completed, contact Support with your order details.

Can I cancel an order or request a refund?

Contact Support with your order number, the product, and the reason for your request. Refund and cancellation requests are considered under the terms that apply to your purchase. Check compatibility and product details before purchasing.

Downloads & activation

Get your purchase ready to use.

Where do I find my download or license key?

Start with your order confirmation and the instructions supplied with the product. If your order is linked to an account, also check My account. Download and activation steps can differ between products.

Will every product need a license key?

Not necessarily. Some products use a serial number, a developer account, or another activation method, while others may not require activation. Follow the instructions supplied with your purchase.

How do I install a plug-in or app?

Download the correct installer for your operating system, extract any archive if needed, and follow the product’s installation guide. Close your music software before installing, then reopen it and follow its plug-in scan instructions. Some products need an additional content library or activation step.

My download is missing, expired, or won’t open. What should I do?

Confirm that the download finished and that you have enough free storage. Follow any archive extraction instructions included with the product. For a missing or expired link, or a file that repeatedly fails, contact Support with your order number and the exact error.

My license key isn’t working. What should I check?

Make sure you’re activating the correct product and edition, and copy the key exactly without extra spaces. Check whether activation must happen in the plug-in, an app, or a developer account. If it still fails, send Support the error message and order number; don’t post your license key publicly.

Compatibility

Find the right fit for your setup.

Will this work with my computer and DAW?

Check the product’s listed operating systems, supported versions, plug-in formats, processor requirements, memory, and storage. Then check that your DAW supports the supplied format. A product working in one setup does not mean it will work in every setup.

What should I check about VST, AU, and AAX?

These are different plug-in formats, and each DAW supports particular formats. Match the formats listed on the product page with the requirements of your DAW. Don’t assume that every product includes every format.

Does it support Apple silicon or my version of Windows or macOS?

Support varies by product and version. Look for explicit information about your processor and operating system in the product requirements. If your exact setup isn’t covered, contact us before buying.

Can I use a plug-in without a DAW, or use an app on my phone?

Check whether the listing includes a standalone version and which devices it supports. A desktop plug-in is not automatically a standalone app, and a desktop app is not automatically compatible with a phone or tablet.

Can I try a demo before purchasing?

If a trial or demo is available, use it to check the product with your setup. Look on the product page or the developer’s official site. Audio and video previews help demonstrate the sound, but they do not confirm compatibility with your computer.

Samplepacks & licenses

Know what’s included and how you can use it.

What comes in a samplepack?

Contents vary. Check the listing for file formats, file counts, sample rate, and whether it includes loops, one-shots, MIDI, presets, or project files. Demo audio may showcase a finished arrangement, so use the written contents list to confirm what you’re buying.

Do I need a specific plug-in to use presets, MIDI, or project files?

Check the requirements for each included file type. Presets can require a particular instrument and version, while project files may depend on a specific DAW or other products. Don’t assume those required products are included unless the listing says so.

Can I use the sounds in commercial music?

Check the license supplied with that specific product. It determines the permitted uses, including commercial releases, client work, and any attribution requirements. If the terms aren’t clear, ask before publishing or using the content commercially.

Can I share, resell, transfer, or use a license on multiple computers?

Those permissions depend on the product’s license. Check its rules for sharing files, transferring ownership, activation limits, and simultaneous use. Buying a download does not by itself establish permission to redistribute its files.

Are future updates included?

Check the product’s update and upgrade terms. Included updates, new major versions, support periods, and any subscription requirements can differ between products. Don’t assume future paid upgrades are included in a flash deal.

Help & account

When you need a little more support.

How do I get help with an order or a technical issue?

Visit Support. Include your order number, product name, operating system, DAW and version if relevant, the steps you tried, and the exact error message. A screenshot can help explain what you’re seeing. Never include your password or full payment card details.

I can’t access my account. What should I do?

Go to My account and use the password reset option with your account email address. If you don’t receive the reset email, check your spam folder. Use the Contact page if you still need help.

How can I contact you about a product question or partnership?

Use our Contact form for pre-purchase questions, general enquiries, or to tell us about a plug-in, samplepack, or app you’d like to feature on FlashVST. For an existing order or technical problem, start with Support.

The product page and this FAQ seem to say different things. Which should I follow?

This FAQ is general guidance. Use the specific product listing, its documentation, and its license terms to check what applies to your purchase. If anything appears inconsistent or unclear, contact us before buying or activating the product.
